Friendship Home Announces Summer Needs

With the weather getting warmer and school coming to a close, the needs at Friendship Home (friendshiphome.org) are changing. During the summer months, the families they serve are able to spend more time together and more time outdoors. The hope is that these families are able to fully enjoy their summers and time together, and in doing so, they would like to reach out to the community to make that happen.

Some of Friendship Home’s summer needs include, but aren’t limited to, sunscreen, bug spray, outdoor games, beach towels, and water balloons. Along with these needs include things that families can go experience and have fun doing together. This can be in the form of gift cards to miniature golf, bowling, museums, pool passes, and Defy Gravity. Whatever your family likes doing together in the summer, families at Friendship Home would enjoy and appreciate as well.

Friendship Home is Lincoln’s only safe, confidential emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children.
