Golf Tournament to Benefit Friendship Home

On Sunday, June 25th, Friendship Home (www.friendshiphome.org) supporters will be “Driving to Putt an End to Domestic Violence” during the 10th annual golf tournament at HiMark Golf Course. This event is entirely volunteer-coordinated, meaning every penny raised goes to help local families escape violent homes.

Teams of four will play in a scramble format with a 2:00pm shotgun start. The team entry fee is $300 and includes green fees, cart rental and lunch on the course. Participants will have opportunities to win flag prizes on the course. The tournament’s winning team will receive HiMark Pro Shop gift certificates.

The deadline to register a team is June 1st. Limited to the first 25 teams. Interested golfers or hole sponsors should contact Amy at (402) 560-3916 or amyschlichting@gmail.com. For more information, visit the Latest News page at www.friendshiphome.org.
