Good Neighbor Community Center’s board of directors announces the promotion of Tom Randa from Program Director to Executive Director, effective April 1. Randa will fill the position as Sheila Schlisner retires after serving as E.D. for seven years.

Randa has been with the Center for four years serving in various capacities including overseeing staff who manage the food pantry, organizing office staff and volunteer coordination, as well as assisting with Information Technology (IT) responsibilities.

Chairman of the board and volunteer Marvin Almy is impressed with what Schlisner has accomplished and is confident in the board’s choice of Randa to continue that leadership.

Since 1973, the Good Neighbor Community Center has helped individuals in Lincoln with basic and emergencies needs of food, clothing and household items in a kind, understanding environment. Through culturally-sensitive services, individuals and families are empowered with positive, life-changing skills.
