Gus Gustafson Served as Guest “SAGE” at CBMC Young Professionals Meeting

CBMC Lincoln’s Young Professionals (YP, Lincoln.cbmc.com) group was excited to have Gus Gustafson as their guest SAGE—Successful, Action-oriented, God-honoring Entrepreneur or Executive—at their November meeting. At age 9, Gus battled for his life following a horrific tractor accident that took his right arm and shoulder and crushed his right leg. Despite his injury, he was determined to excel in athletics. He played varsity basketball, achieving Honorable Mention All-State, and went on to play collegiate ball. A string of devastating events in college led to a faith in Jesus Christ that transformed his life.

A guest SAGE is a key feature of each monthly CBMC YP meeting, representing a seasoned man with many years of experience, both in the marketplace and in their Christian faith. Gus shared his Christian testimony, his experiences starting, leading, and selling several companies, and five key principles he learned from these. Gus concluded by sharing several key Bible passages that have impacted his life and then answered questions during an engaging Q&A.
