The Nebraska Humanities Council (NHC) recently awarded 28 grants totaling $98,552. Neihardt Foundation, Bancroft; Friends of the Midwest Theater, Scottsbluff; Genoa U.S. Indian School Foundation, $1,500;  Office of the Capitol Commission, Lincoln; Omaha Public Library; University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Department of Teacher Education; Nebraska StoryArts, Omaha; Sheldon Art Association, Lincoln; Old West Days Inc., Valentine; University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Medieval and Renaissance Studies; The Nature Conservancy, Omaha; Crane River Theater Company, Kearney; Nebraska Archaeological Society, Lincoln; Joslyn Castle Trust, Omaha; Indian Center, Scottsbluff and Friends of Homestead National Monument, Beatrice.
