Junior Achievement of Lincoln Hosts Ribbon Cutting at New Office

Junior Achievement of Lincoln (jalincoln.org) recently moved to a new office space at 300 S. 68th St., STE 110. After 14 years at Southeast Community College, Junior Achievement is thrilled to have a brand new space so that they can continue to grow and invest in Lincoln’s youth. To celebrate the organization’s relocation, the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 8, which was sponsored by KPMG.

Junior Achievement works with almost 31,000 K–12th graders to teach them work-readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy skills. In order to accomplish this, the organization plans and hosts multiple events throughout the year to generate enough funds to keep their programs going. The next event will be the JA Dinner and Auction on September 27, 5:30–9 p.m., at the Cornhusker Marriott.
