On Sunday, September 9, 2012, the Junior League of Lincoln will hold its First Annual High Heel Relay Race fundraiser at SouthPointe Pavilions in Lincoln. The event will raise funds for the Junior League’s community projects serving women and children in Lincoln.
The community is invited to form teams and register for the race or attend to cheer on the participants. Prizes will be awarded for fastest relay teams in men’s, women’s, and coed categories. Prizes will also be awarded for best costume and best cheering.
Celebrities from Lincoln will participate in a separate race. Celebrities include Joe from the B107.3 Morning Show, Homer from the Saltdogs, Lincoln Stars Hockey players, and more to be announced.
