The Lincoln Community Foundation welcomes four new members to its board of directors: Bob Caldwell, Hampton Enterprises; David Landis, City of Lincoln Urban Development; Diane Mendenhall, Nebraska Alumni Association; and Deb Schorr, Lancaster County Commissioner.
The foundation has also re-elected board officers for a second term, including Carl Sjulin, board chair, West Gate Bank; Angie Muhleisen, board vice-chair, Union Bank & Trust; Candy Henning, secretary, Candy Henning Company; and Richard Vierk, Vierk & Associates.
The Lincoln Community Foundation, established in 1955, strives to continually enrich the Lincoln community by promoting and achieving perpetual philanthropic support. The Foundation has distributed $70 million in grants to nonprofit agencies and organizations that have improved the lives of thousands of residents.
