The Lincoln Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD-Lincoln)
—an affiliate of the Association for Talent Development (ATD), the world’s largest association dedicated to the training and development profession—will offer a learning event and workshop presented by Susan Meyerle of Life Resources, LLC. Trainers often feel challenged when “dry” material needs to be disseminated to learners. This session focuses on effective strategies to engage the audience to enhance learning outcomes. Participants will explore techniques to improve audience participation and increase content retention. At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
* Identify multiple strategies to engage an audience even when the material is considered boring
* Recognize the benefits of using humor to enhance retention. Take away strategies to engage audiences within participants’ organizations.
The event will be held at Jack J. Huck Continuing Education Center, 301 S. 68th St. Place in Lincoln on Thursday, March 19 from 11:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Lunch is included.
