At the midpoint of the Live Healthy 100-Day Challenge, Nebraskans had lost 21,669 pounds, an average of 2.7 lbs. per participant.  Participants had also recorded 188,820 hours of exercise, or an average of 29 minutes per person per day.

A total of 7,997 Nebraskans are enrolled in the annual challenge which provides motivation and education toward healthier lifestyles.  The program is administered by the Nebraska Sports Council and the Live Healthy America Foundation.

A record 152 Nebraska companies have employees enrolled in the Challenge, and officials reported that worksite teams account for just over 80% of all entries.

The Live Healthy Nebraska 100-Day Challenge ends on May 1.
