NAM’s Nonprofit Summit of the Midlands to Take Place Virtually November 3

The Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM, www.nonprofitam.org) announced the date for its 15th annual Nonprofit Summit of the Midlands conference will be Wednesday, November 3. Being held virtually and hosted by NAM and DA Davidson, the Summit will connect nonprofits with all missions and sizes with ideas, best practices, and educational resources in the nonprofit sector. Attendees will include more than 300 nonprofit executives, employees, board members, and volunteers.

The conference theme is “Forward Together.” The upheaval of 2020 and 2021 has illustrated how important the nonprofit community is in making our communities stronger, healthier, and livable for all, but it has also made it clear that we can’t do it alone. The event will feature breakout sessions and workshops on a variety of nonprofit topics that will help nonprofits continue to move Forward Together.

The keynote speaker of this year’s Summit is Dr. Atyia Martin, CEO and founder of All Aces, Inc., an alternative to traditional diversity, equity, and inclusion consulting firms. Dr. Martin will offer an engaging session on what a resilient and equitable organizational culture looks like. She will also provide knowledge and tools for participants to play an active role in transforming their organization. For more information and registration, please visit www.nonprofitam.org/events.
