The public is invited to participate in the family-friendly ENERGY Walk/5k run on July 21st in the Fallbrook neighborhood. As part of the Cornhusker State Games, the event proceeds benefit Teach a Kid to Fish, a local nonprofit working to address the issue of childhood obesity.
The ENERGY Walk is a family-friendly event for all ages. Participants may choose from a 2-mile stroll or a 10k trek through the Fallbrook neighborhood. The fee is $20 per person and final registration deadline is July 19.
The ENERGY 5K is a family-friendly road race through the Fallbrook neighborhood. The fee is $30 per person and registration is required by July 2.
Teach a Kid to Fish has partnered with Nebraska SportsCouncil for this community walk/run to be held in conjunction with the 28thAnnual Cornhusker State Games July 20 – 29. Families who register together will be entered for prize drawings.
