A new website (www.letsbuildnebraska.org) for nonprofits was launched to provide resources, expertise and opportunities for community-minded individuals, nonprofit staff and volunteers who seek to improve the quality of life in Nebraska.

Let’s Build Nebraska aims to increase the capacity, effectiveness, and efficiency of nonprofits and nonprofit staff in Nebraska. Resources include a listing of experts who offer free consultations, sites that link to training opportunities and a resource library ranging from tips on how to start a nonprofit to managing volunteers to organizing a board of directors.

Collaborators on the creation of Let’s Build Nebraska include: Bright Lights, Community Health Endowment, Cooper Foundation, John Fulwider Coaching • Speaking • Consulting, Human Services Federation, Lancaster County Human Services, Lincoln Housing Authority, Nebraska Housing Developers Association, Nonprofit Marketing Network, Region V Systems, ServeNebraska, Schmeeckle Research, Tyrrell Consulting and Volunteer Partners.

Although launched in Lincoln, Let’s Build Nebraska is a statewide resource. As Let’s Build Nebraska evolves, users from around the state are encouraged to submit resources, experts and events to share on the site.
