The Northview Lincoln Business Association (NLBA) has once again strengthened its commitment to the community. The organization donated toys and money amounting to over $1,000 to the Santa Cop program at their meeting in November.

“NLBA partners with a different non-profit each year and in 2012 we wanted to give back to the kids. This gave us the opportunity to partner with the Lincoln Police Department and their successful Santa Cop program,” said Steve Maly, NLBA president. “It’s an opportunity for our entire organization to come together to make a difference in so many lives.”

The Santa Cop program, which began by the Lincoln Police Department in 1980, annually serves 4,000 children across the city.

The North Lincoln Business Association was founded in 1999 in a growing effort to support and enhance the business culture in the north sector of Lincoln. With an active membership of more than 40, NLBA is a business-networking group that is comprised of business professionals from all sectors.
