The Board of Directors of The HUB- Central Access Point For Young Adults announces new Executive Director, Nola Derby-Bennett. Derby-Bennett has been with The HUB since 2005, most recently serving as the Assistant Director.
The HUB also announces the appointment of three new board members. Aaron Wiegert, BKD; Jai Bohl, Claritus and Zachary Baehr, LPS, and the resignation of Greg Shinaut, Black Hills Energy.
The mission of The HUB to provide support and access to services to young adults transitioning into adulthood who are disconnected from family and the community. Their goal is to provide support, understanding and care to young people ages 16-24 to help them transition successfully into adulthood as they become productive independent contributing members of the community. To achieve this goal we will provide support and access to services in five areas of need to achieve a successful transition into adulthood: housing, education, employment, mental health & community involvement.
