Lincoln’s new Nonprofit Hub located at 211 N. 14th Street hosted an open house and ribbon cutting event on March 25th, signifying its official grand opening. At Nonprofit Hub, local organizations will share space with others trying to make a positive change in the world—without sacrificing a big piece of their budget to pay for that space.

Nonprofit Hub is work-ready when a nonprofit steps in the door. They’ll be assigned a desk, have access to WiFi, printers and office supplies as well as phone service and a permanent address to receive mail. Organizations can also have a business address and professional reception services. The two-level, 12,000-square-foot office offers a space to work for up to 100 people each day with 13 private offices and 12 ultra-private collaborative cubicles available, plus 44 desks that can be rented on a day-to-day basis. The space also offers a state-of-the art conference center and classroom and several meeting rooms that are available to the organizations.

Executive Director Randy Hawthorne said the space would provide more than just a place to work. “Not only will this be the home to hundreds of nonprofits, but we’ll also provide education for these organizations, in keeping with our original mission,” Hawthorne said. “We will create an overall community of collaboration.”
