Junior Achievement of Lincoln is pleased to announce that their annual Bowl-A-Thon
will be held on February 22! Individuals and businesses have several opportunities to support this major fundraiser as a team member, a team captain, a company coordinator or a company sponsorship. Each bowler must raise a minimum of $45.00 from sponsors, family, friends and colleagues, in order to get an opportunity to bowl two games and have a good time. Sponsorship opportunities for this event are still available, and companies can sponsor at three different levels in order to have their names and logos on display at the event and at the JA website. Team registration packets will be mailed out in early January.
Junior Achievement’s economic education programs have been offered to Lincoln-area high school students for more than 42 years. Through business efforts in partnership with education, JA empowers young people to own their economic success by educating and inspiring them to value free enterprise, understand business and economics, and be workforce ready. Nearly 700 business volunteers and 21,000 elementary, middle and high school students are annually involved in the JA program in more than 80 Lincoln-area public and parochial schools.
