Tabitha, your answer for Elder Care, is pleased to announce its latest, innovative response to the growing demand for aging journey options in Lincoln. Having recently acquired the property at 3355 Orwell Street in Lincoln’s Williamsburg neighborhood through a significant in-kind donation, Tabitha will renovate an existing building into its revolutionary, residential-style skilled nursing and long-term care model for hospice and palliative care clients.

Tabitha first responded to the need for a dedicated hospice care community in Lincoln in 2011 by opening Journey House SNF for Hospice Care and Palliative Care on the organization’s main campus in central Lincoln. Since then, the demand for inpatient hospice and palliative care services has continued to grow, with Journey House experiencing a consistently lengthy prospective client waiting list.

As a non-profit, Christian-centered organization, Tabitha relies on the generosity of donors and community partners to meet the needs of Elders throughout a 28-county service area. The new community in Williamsburg will progress as contributions are secured to fund the necessary and extensive renovations.
