Tabitha, your answer for Elder Care, spread the Christmas spirit far and wide in 2013 with the organization’s third-annual GIVE2LIVE Christmas gift initiative for Elders. Through the employee-driven program, more than 1,300 Elders throughout southeast Nebraska received personalized Christmas gifts during the month of December.

In-kind donations from Tabitha employees made up the majority of gifts distributed, and a large volunteer crew helped sort, arrange and organize gifts for distribution. In addition to the contributions of Tabitha employees, GIVE2LIVEbenefited from the financial generosity of many community organizations and individuals, including Cards for Seniors, Janiacs Group, Lincoln PBC Club, New Covenant Lutheran Church, Popper’s Fireworks, Quilters Guild: The Corny Bunch, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (DeWitt, Neb.), Walgreens Infusion Therapy Services, Walmart (Lincoln and Crete stores), Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Pat Deeds, Sandra Hovis, Tracey Jicha, Randy Krueger, Wanda Leaders, Dannielle Oestreich, Laura Pavalis, Felicia Rasmussen and Harold VanArsdall.

As a nonprofit organization serving 28 Nebraska counties, Tabitha’s love embraces a society where everyone is valued and empowered to live life to the fullest, with compassionate at-home support, innovative living communities, exceptional rehabilitation, health care and hospice services.
