TeamMates of Lincoln Partners with Costco Wholesale #1285 for December Donations

Although Costco has only been in Lincoln since 2017, Costco Wholesale #1285 and its general manager, Clay Bradshaw, have quickly befriended TeamMates (LincolnTeamMates.org) of Lincoln. Following its goal to “support the communities where our employees and members live and work,” Costco has helped TeamMates of Lincoln with donations of surplus cookies and pastries on several occasions, most notably, for two of its December Toys for Tots Distribution events.

TeamMates received a record number of Toys for Tots applications in 2019, doubling the number of families that applied in 2018, serving a total of 552 children.

“Costco has been an amazing partner,” TeamMates Coordinator Jim Bennett said. “Their commitment to be present in their communities, and Clay’s “How can we help?” attitude, has been invaluable.”

Bradshaw’s store is the first and only Costco in Lincoln, so he and his team have been eager to find ways to become a part of the community. “Obviously, as a company and personally, we love to do what we can,” he said.
