Toastmasters International District 24 will hold its fall conference in Lincoln on Friday, October 10, and Saturday, October 11, at the Hilton Garden Inn in the Haymarket. Toastmasters International is a global leader in experiential learning for communication and leadership skills, with clubs in over 100 countries and a global membership near 300,000.
Over 100 people are expected at the conference, which features keynote speaker Byron Embry, former Lincoln Saltdogs closing pitcher, who will discuss leadership themes during the day-and-a-half event. Contestants from District 24 will also compete in the final round of the Toastmasters District 24Evaluation and Humorous Speech contests.
