Recycling Enterprises of NE will host a Green Team Roundtable from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 8th at their headquarters, 1200 West Upland Avenue in Lincoln. The meeting will feature a presentation on “Getting to Zero Waste” and a tour of Recycling Enterprise’s new facility. Bread and Cup will cater a zero-waste lunch at a cost of $10 or $8 for WasteCap Nebraska members. Registration and payment must be made by noon on Monday, August 6 at www.wastecapne.org/greenteams/.
Started in 2009, Green Team Roundtables are peer-to-peer networking meetings organized by WasteCap Nebraska for business owners, managers, green team members and individuals interested in developing their knowledge in sustainable business practices. Roundtables are held in Lincoln on the second Wednesday of even months, in Omaha on odd months, and in greater Nebraska on the third Wednesday each month.
