WasteCap Nebraska will kick off the 2014 season of Green Team Roundtables in Lincoln by inviting local businesses to participate in a facilitated discussion about what sustainability means to their operations in 2014. WasteCap staff will also provide an overview of its new programs for the year, including an audited green business certification program for organizations ready to take their sustainability programs to a higher level. The Roundtable is sponsored by WasteCap’s board of directors and will be held at Firespring, 1201 Infinity Court in Lincoln on Wednesday, February 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cost is $10 or $8 for WasteCap Nebraska members and includes a zero-waste lunch. Pre-registration and payment must be made by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7 at www.wastecapne.org/greenteams/
