Wear Yellow Nebraska will be hosting the 9th Annual Wear Yellow Ride on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Strategic Air & Space Museum, Ashland, Nebraska.  The bike tour aims to raise funds and awareness for Wear Yellow Nebraska which is a local grassroots organization fighting against cancer through advocacy, awareness, and fundraising. We want to inspire others in the community to take action in our fight.

Participants can choose their course distance with 22, 34, and 47 mile options available. The start and finish of the ride will be at the Durham Restoration Center.  Riders are encouraged to stick around after the ride for a pancake breakfast by the Pancake Man, a raffle and door prizes.  On-course support is provided by The Bike Way and Trek Bicycle stores.

Proceeds support Wear Yellow Nebraska’s cancer fighting and cancer patient assistance programs such as the Wear Yellow Grant Program and the Wear Yellow Cab Ride Program.

See www.wearyellownebraska.org for more details.

The event is slated to begin at 7:00 a.m.
