McBride & Associates is pleased to announce that Alissa Johnson has earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE®) credential.  The CAE is the highest professional credential in the association industry.  Less than five percent of all association professionals have earned the CAE.

To be designated as a Certified Association Executive, an applicant must have a minimum of three years of experience in nonprofit organization management, complete a minimum of 100 hours of specialized professional development, pass a stringent exam in association management, and pledge to uphold a code of ethics.

Johnson joined McBride & Associates as an Account Manager in 2007.  Her primary responsibilities include serving as Director of Communications and Associate Director for the Nebraska Optometric Association, serving as Manager of the Nebraska Foundation for Children’s Vision, and assisting with marketing and communications strategies and materials for other clients.  Her 15-year career in association management includes 10 years at the Home Builders Association of Lincoln.
