Chris McPike Awarded Health Underwriter of the Year

The Lincoln Association of Health Underwriters (LAHU) recently awarded its distinguished Health Underwriter of the Year Award to Christine McPike.

“What Chris has done and continues to do for our industry is priceless,” said LAHU president elect Cortney Ray. “She epitomizes what it means to be a broker for the people, going above and beyond for her clients, as well as the health insurance industry.”

Chris has been active in NAHU for 6 years, currently serving as the President Elect for the Nebraska Chapter. She is the Vice President of Compensation Programs, Inc., a family owned agency since 1990. Prior to ComPro, Chris was the business manager for KOLN/KGIN TV for 14 years.

“The past few years have been a tumultuous time for our industry,” said Anissa Schroeder, LAHU public service chair. “From working with law makers, to serving on boards, to patiently focusing on the health care needs of each of her clients, Chris serves tirelessly, with a passion that inspires others.”
