The HUB- Central Access Point For Young Adults
, welcomes Sarah Murtagh to its Board of Directors. Murtagh has a diverse skill set that brings additional depth to The HUB Board. Murtagh is the Director of Employment Services at Goodwill Industries. Her volunteer work includes the Lincoln Young Professionals Group, Lincoln Community Playhouse, United Way, Youth Actors Academy of Lincoln, The Downtown Lincoln Association, Greater Lincoln Obedience Club, Lincoln Parks and Recreation and is a member of Leadership Lincoln Fellows class 27. She joins an eight-member Board of Directors.
Other Board members include: Zachary Baehr, Lincoln Public Schools; Chris Freeman, UBS, Brian Johnson, Cornhusker Bank; Aaron Wiegert, BKD; Jai Bohl, Claritus; Nic Jantzen, Jantzen Law Office; and Nancy Pekny, Personal Coach.
The mission of The HUB is to provide support and access to services for young adults transitioning into adulthood who are disconnected from family and the community. The HUB offers programming to youth and young adults ages 16-24 in the areas of housing, mental health, education, employment and community involvement.
