Members of Leadership Nebraska Class VI were awarded a diploma and commemorative plaque at the State Chamber’s Leadership Nebraska commencement ceremony held Wednesday, February 6, in Lincoln.  Graduates of the State Chamber’s Leadership Nebraska are current and emerging leaders throughout Nebraska. The program enhances their leadership skills, and deepens their knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing our state. Leadership Nebraska is dedicated to the development of informed leaders that understand issues, define problems, develop solutions, and achieve positions of higher responsibility in Nebraska.

The Class VI members come from across Nebraska and range from volunteers, business leaders, philanthropic workers, educators, and entrepreneurs. This year’s class includes: Andy Alexander, UNO; Klint Andreas, Cabela’s; Wes Blecke, Wayne Chamber of Commerce; Jeff Buettner, CNIPPD; Garry Clark, Cuming County Economic Development, West; Jill Denker, Lexington Regional Health Center; Tim Erickson, AIM; Cory Fuehrer, NPPD; Elaine Hanson, Peru State College; Kevin Jarosz, Black Hills Energy; Karen Kliment, Community Hospital; Nathan Philippi, Expanxion; Chad Rutar, Renaissance Financial Investments; Jason R Smith, F&M Bank; and Jill Watkins, LES.

Application for the next class may be submitted until April 15, 2013.
