After 21 years as Liberty First Credit Union’s CEO, Ken Bradshaw is retiring.  Ken began his career in the credit union industry at the age of 29, holding several CEO positions and a VP of Operations position.  These positions of leadership became the backbone for Ken’s management style and strength that put him in his current position of CEO/President of Liberty First Credit Union in 1992.  Ken has taken the small one building credit union and turned it into the largest credit union in Lincoln with five branches and over 18,700 members.  In the past year, Liberty First added a new Seward branch as well as their fourth Lincoln branch on 84th and Lexington Avenue.  Ken has upheld and believed in the “People Helping People” credit union philosophy.  He has held several positions on Nebraska Credit Union League boards and committees including serving as Chairman, 1st Vice Chair and 2nd Vice Chair of the League Board of Directors, Chairman of the Governmental Affairs Committee, Chairman of the League Legislative Committee and Chairman of the Cooperative Solutions Group which is the Nebraska Credit Union League’s for profit subsidiary.  Congratulations on your retirement Ken!
