The Nebraska Health Care Association is pleased to announce that Cindy Kadavy has joined the association as vice president of reimbursement. Kadavy comes to NHCA after 15 years with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. In this newly formed position, Kadavy will oversee work related to reimbursement, including Medicare and Medicaid, for NHCA’s affiliates: the Nebraska Nursing Facility Association, Nebraska Assisted Living Association, Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association, and Licensed Practical Nurse Association of Nebraska. Cindy has extensive experience in the area of long-term care, including nine years as the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman and five years as administrator of the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Division of Medicaid and Long-Term Care.
