RoxAnn Coudeyras, business instructor and co-chair of the Business Administration and Office Professional programs at Southeast Community College’s Beatrice Campus, recently received awards for her service to two professional organizations.  Coudeyras received the Outstanding Educator Award from the Nebraska Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Delta Pi Epsilon at the organization’s annual banquet June 6 during the Nebraska Career Education Conference in Kearney. On June 10 she was presented the Nebraska State Business Education Association’s Service Award during the opening banquet of the Mountain-Plains Business Education Association’s annual conference in Omaha.

The DPE Outstanding Educator Award has been given annually since 1986 to an educator who has made a significant impact on education in Nebraska. Coudeyras has been a DPE member since 1985 and has served on scholarship committees, as the newsletter co-editor, recording secretary, president, and past-president of the Nebraska chapter.  Delta Pi Epsilon is a national graduate honorary society for professionals who support and promote scholarship, leadership and cooperation toward the advancement of education for and about business.

The NSBEA award is given to a highly-dedicated professional who has made significant contributions in the form of service to NSBEA and business education at the local, state and regional levels. Coudeyras has served on the NSBEA Board for many years as a member, representative and chair of various committees such as the Awards Committee.
