Tabitha, your answer for Elder Care, is committed each day to promoting the dignity, independence and well-being of older adults. Behind that mission are the compassionate and committed team members who generously share their talents with Tabitha. Last quarter the organization honored Tasha Brown, Nate Fellers and Crystal Sato as Tabitha Employees of the Month and Aloha Schmid as Leader of the Quarter for their dedication to service and upholding not only Tabitha’s mission but its award-winning LIVE2Succeed corporate culture.

Tasha Brown, resident assistant at Tabitha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, makes sure the residents she serves are at the center of all she does. Brown goes out of her way to help other team members and always brings a smile to residents, who look forward to seeing her each day.

Nate Fellers, physical therapy assistant, is an invaluable member of the Tabitha rehabilitation team. He brings a positive energy to those he works with, and goes above and beyond to help Tabitha clients with the physical, educational and emotional aspects of reaching their rehabilitation goals.

Crystal Sato serves as music therapist and life enrichment aide for Tabitha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. In her work Sato validates every Elder, bringing them out of shyness or lack of self-esteem by introducing them to music and social activity.

Aloha Schmid has served Tabitha over the years in many roles but most recently received recognition for renewing Tabitha’s culture as interim administrator of Tabitha Hospice—Nebraska’s first hospice provider—and providing educational opportunities to medical professionals and the greater public as community outreach liaison.
