Tabitha Hospice is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeanne Wolken, RN, BSN-CHPN to the position of clinical coordinator in its main campus region. In her new role, Wolken will expand her leadership abilities, coordinating the care of Tabitha Hospice clients throughout Lancaster County.  Wolken came to Tabitha with more than 27 years of practical nursing experience throughout southeast Nebraska in a wide range of health care services. She is one of only a handful of nurses in Nebraska who have received certification in hospice and palliative care. She also recently received certification in Alzheimer’s and dementia care.

Trish Smolik, RN, BSN, MSN, has also joined Tabitha Hospice as assistant administrator. Smolik will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Tabitha Hospice’s regional teams spanning 28 southeast Nebraska counties, and facilitation of quality and process improvement for Tabitha’s end-of-life services.  Smolik joins Tabitha with more than 16 years’ nursing experience working in a variety of health disciplines.
