Tabitha, your answer for Elder Care
, is pleased to welcome Brittany Tran as director of Tabitha’s Adult Day program. In her new role, Tran plans, develops and implements programming while providing leadership for this valuable Tabitha service that offers a daytime home away from home for community Elders.
Tran returns to Tabitha with a wealth of experience in Elder Care. She previously served the organization as admissions coordinator and has since enhanced her leadership skills and experience in Elder Care and program organization. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and earned gerontology certification in 2008.
Tabitha’s Adult Day program helps Elders maintain their independence by providing a safe, nurturing environment for adults who need extra care or social support during the day when other family may not be available. As support for family caregivers, Adult Day features positive activities that enrich older adults and support those who may be experiencing memory loss. It is one of only a few programs in Lincoln that specializes in on-site, daytime Elder support.
