Union Bank & Trust recently promoted Doug Koenig to Vice President & Trust Services Advisor in Personal Trust & Wealth Management and Ralene Klostermeyer to Vice President & Trust Officer in Corporate Trust.

An employee of the bank since 2001, Koenig focuses on assisting individuals and couples to find solutions to their estate planning needs, investments and financial goals while also leading the department’s business development efforts. Koenig earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln, a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from St. Philip Neri Seminary in Toronto, and a Masters of Divinity from St. Joseph’s Seminary in Younkers, NY. He is also a graduate of the Cannon Trust School and the Nebraska Bankers Association Advanced Trust School. Koenig has earned the CTFA designation and holds series 7 and 63 licenses. He is a member of the Lincoln Estate Planning Council, the Association of Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs (ABLE) and the Lincoln Probate Discussion Group.

Klostermeyer has been with the bank for over 12 years and has over 22 years of corporate trust and audit experience. She serves as a relationship manager assisting clients with all aspects of bond, custody and escrow administration. Klostermeyer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln, is a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute and holds the Certified Corporate Trust Specialist (CCTS) certification from the Institute of Certified Bankers. She currently serves on the Finance Board of Community Action Partnerships of Lancaster County and is a former United Way Funds Allocation member.
