Union Bank & Trust recently promoted Charity Kuehn and Jake Muhleisen in Commercial Lending at its 70th & Pioneers location.

Kuehn, now Vice President—Church Financing, specializes in providing financing for the unique needs of churches and religious organizations throughout the Central and Midwest regions of the United States, with projects including new construction, remodeling or expansion. Kuehn joined Union Bank in 2005 and spent five years in Retirement Plan Services before joining Private Banking in 2010. Kuehn graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She went on to graduate from the Leadership Kearney and Leadership Lincoln Fellows Programs. She earned the Certified Retirement Services Professional designation from Cannon Trust Schools. Kuehn serves as the Auction Chair for Go Red for Women and is a member of the National Association of Church Design Builders, National Association of Church Business Administrators and Cathedral of the Risen Christ Church.

Muhleisen, now Vice President—Commercial Lending, is primarily responsible for developing and underwriting new commercial lending relationships as well as the administration of an existing commercial lending portfolio. His prior experience with the bank includes the Credit Administration and Private Banking departments. A Superior Scholar Graduate, Muhleisen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he was recognized as Academic All Big XII. He went on to complete a Masters of Business Administration from Creighton University. Muhleisen is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Collegiate School of Business Honor Society. Muhleisen is active in the community and volunteers for various charities and organizations including: Chair of the Lincoln Children’s Zoo; Board Member for the March of Dimes; and member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
