Union Bank & Trust Promotes Stacy Brass and Cindy Tinkham

Union Bank & Trust (www.ubt.com) recently promoted Stacy Brass to First Vice President of Private Banking & Commercial Lending and Cindy Tinkham to First Vice President of Compliance and Risk.

Brass joined Union Bank in 2001 and brings over 21 years of banking experience to her position. As First Vice President of Private Banking and Commercial Lending, she is responsible for overseeing the Private Banking Department. The Private Banking Team serves as a single point of contact for high net worth individuals and their businesses. In this role, they strive to exceed clients’ expectations and proactively take care of all their financial needs. Stacy also serves on the Bank’s Asset & Liability, Retail Loan, Marketing, and Management Committees.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Brass currently serves on the YMCA Board and Executive Committee as First Vice Chair. She has previously served on the United Way Emerging Leader Board, Lincoln’s Young Professionals Group Board as Chair, Lincoln Public School’s Superintendent’s Advisory Council, amongst many others. Also active in her faith community, Stacy has served as St. Peter’s Catholic School SFA Board President, is a Marian Associate, and enjoys volunteering with the Lincoln Diocese’s Youth Ministry Programs.

Tinkham joined Union Bank in 2004 in the Internal Audit department and has over 31 years of banking experience. As First Vice President of Compliance and Risk, she is responsible for the development and coordination of the Bank’s compliance management system and enterprise risk identification and mitigation. She is also the chair of the Enterprise Risk Management Committee and Bank CRA Officer.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Tinkham is a graduate of the ABA National Compliance School as well as the KBA/NBA Advanced School of Banking, School of Trust and Financial Planning, and Bank Compliance School. She holds the designation as a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager. Active in the community, Tinkham serves as a Board Member of City Impact and is on the broadcast team of Lincoln Berean Church.
