SCC’s All-College Open House will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at its Beatrice, Lincoln and Milford campuses. Planning for Open House starts months in advance and involves hundreds of employees.
Prospective students and their families will have the opportunity to tour programs of interest, talk to faculty and students and see hands-on demonstrations, all intended to help them make an informed decision about college.
Representatives who attended a recent job fair on SCC’s Lincoln Campus said one of their biggest challenges is finding enough skilled workers to fill open positions. Prospective students who are eager to start working should look no further than SCC to gain skills for employment.
SCC’s All-College Open House also is an opportunity for prospective students and their families to register for scholarships and get more information on housing, student activities, intercollegiate athletics, and financial aid.
