Southeast Community College is offering a new class designed to help children ages 6-12 develop an understanding of the feelings and emotions they experience due to divorce or the end of their parents’ relationship.

The course, “My Parents are Getting a Divorce . . . Now What?” is being offered three Mondays during the Fall Quarter: Oct. 3, Nov. 7 and Dec. 5.

Children will meet in a small interactive setting, so enrollment is limited. The course is being held concurrently with “Co-Parenting: Working Together for Your Children,” and is designed for the children of parents who are attending the Co-Parenting class.

The class will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in Room 302 of SCC’s Continuing Education Center, 301 S. 68th St. Place, Lincoln. Cost is $25 per child, and children must register and pay prior to the night of the class.
