Elite Kitchens & Flooring, an interior design firm offering a full range of Interior Design services while focusing on cabinetry and flooring options, was formed in Lincoln in October of 2008.  Their showroom opened in April of 2009 at 4107 Pioneer Woods Dr, #111 (the NE corner of 70th and Pioneers) and their Designers have collectively 30 years of experience in Interior Design.

Who are the owners/important executives?
Traci Rohde is our owner; with our designers Rachelle Miller, ASID and Lisa Giesbrecht, ASID.

What do you think makes you different from other companies similar to yours?
Because we are staffed by Interior Designers, we are able to help our customers complete the picture of their interior over just supplying pieces of the puzzle.

What do you like about doing business in Lincoln?
We love that Lincoln, through its growth, has maintained a small-town atmosphere.  We find our customers and the people we do business with very loyal.

What kind of community organizations/groups are you involved with?
Our designers are professional members of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), and the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Associate).  We are also members of the Home Builders Association and the Remodeler’s Council.

What do you see happening with the business in the next five years?
We are planning for continued success and growth.  Our recent expansion included additional space for future staffing needs as well as plans for a full design library.

What is one of the biggest challenges that your company has faced?
In February of 2011, our store was purchased by Traci Rohde and immediately began our showroom expansion-nearly doubling our space.  While this change is good, it put a lot of stress on our growing business.

What has been your most important achievement as a business?
Many small businesses fail within the first three years; we have passed that milestone and have been pleased to see steady growth since we began.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about your business that most people don’t know?
We have themed music days that adds to a fun working environment.  Come in on Monday and you’ll hear Justin Timberlake and Beyonce, by Friday we’re listening to Madonna and Prince.
