Strictly Business Upcoming Events

Last Month Recap

Last month was the last month we plan to host a virtual event, and it feels good to say that! Our Friends4Drinks was held via Zoom on June 4. Thank you to all who have logged in to our virtual events to keep up with the Strictly Business team throughout COVID! Now, we are thrilled to be hosting in-person events again, starting with our Friends4Lunch in June which we held at Venue Restaurant & Lounge. It was so great getting to actually see all our friends and clients who attended, and we even welcomed a few new faces! Thank you to everyone who joined us—we definitely missed you all. Plus, it was a treat getting to dine on the delicious fare at Venue. They use the freshest ingredients and farm-to-table products from Nebraska farms. Our group enjoyed dishes such as the prime rib and the Venue Pecan Bleu salad.

Thursday, July 23, 4–6 p.m. at Rock ‘n’ Joe Coffee Bar

We are very excited about this month’s Friends4Drinks event because it will be hosted at Rock ‘n’ Joe Coffee Bar, 5025 Lindberg St, on Thursday, July 23, from 4 to 6 p.m. In addition to a networking happy hour, attendees will also have the opportunity to play MUSIC BINGO! Rock ‘n’ Joe has had a great response to this activity before. With a drink in hand, you will be given a bingo card with song titles in the squares. Then, the emcee will queue up music clips just like bingo numbers! It’s sure to be a fun, interactive time. Rock ‘n’ Joe has a delicious wine selection on hand from their own collection, Whispering Winds Vineyards in York, in addition to other cocktails, brews, and beverages at the bar. We hope to see you there!

Tuesday, July 14, 11:30 a.m. at The Chocolate Season

Our Friends4Lunch will be held on Tuesday, July 14, beginning at 11:30 a.m. We are jumping with joy to return to The Chocolate Season for another lunch, especially since they have added some fresh new items to their menu since the last time we were there! These new items include quiche, salads, wraps, and sandwiches. We learned last time that they have delicious grilled cheese options as well. Since The Chocolate Season is still pretty new to Lincoln, we encourage anyone who has not dined there to join us! This event is open to anyone in the Lincoln business community, not just our clients. We love new faces!

RSVP is requested for these events. Please let the Strictly Business team know if you plan to attend by calling (402) 466-3330, emailing editor@strictlybusinessomaha.com, or marking yourself as “Going” on the Facebook event pages.
