Welcome to the March issue!

Over the short period of time that I have been working here at Strictly Business I have learned a lot.

From knowing which parking space I shouldn’t park in unless you want to hear about how messy your car is looking, to knowing Chinese food doesn’t age well in the trash can (must be taken out ASAP) to one of the most important ones: Time is Valuable.   This is a lesson that is important in the work place and in my personal life.  Here at the magazine we are always working ahead, always on a deadline. Learning to take advantage of the time we have is something that has become an art in itself and something that I strive to do on a day to day basis at work and at home. Not long ago, my father had surgery and even though it was a success, the thought of my father not being around did cross my mind. I had a personal growth moment. I learned that yet again, TIME is valuable.

We don’t know what will happen tomorrow- what we will have or what we won’t have. So in turn I challenge you all to take advantage of the time you have, do something different, don’t argue, laugh a lot, take care of yourself and enjoy the beauty of life.  As the saying goes, don’t put off until tomorrow what you could do today.

On a different note, I want to draw your attention to our feature stories this month.  You will learn about numerous organizations (Joining Organizations) that are making a difference and that you might want to consider joining! You will also get some insight on  Men’s Health.  This information really encompasses both genders, and shouldn’t be overlooked.

After all, who doesn’t want to feel great when that warm weather rolls around?  We also have some fun stories to share with you; The Corky Canvas Experience; which is a little snippet of how fun our holiday party was & Spring Fashion Trends. Finally, you will find our Commercial Construction story, which is the beginning of the Construction Series for 2012.

Enjoy this issue- and thanks again for your continued support.
