Tell us a little about your family.
I’m happily married to Joe Hain. He is employed at the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital and works in the ITS Department.  My oldest son Trevor works with recording artists and currently resides in Denver, Colorado.  My son Cory is a Physical Therapy Tech at St. Elizabeth Hospital.  I also have one grandson.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life?
Starting my career at HomeServices.  This company has opened so many doors and I’m constantly amazed with the opportunities they provide.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
I enjoy spending time with my grandson.  We frequent the Children’s Museum, Lost In Fun, or our neighborhood park.  My husband and I also enjoy working in the yard and relaxing at the movie theatre.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?
I have hosted Lincoln Stars players in my home for 13 years.  This was a wonderful opportunity to meet people.   We will always consider them a part of our family.

What are you the most proud of?
The people I surround myself with – my family and friends.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Never stay mad at someone for too long because you never know when that person won’t be there.

How would your friends describe you?
Caring, dependable and always willing to volunteer.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life?
Baking – I can make an award-winning rum cake!

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I would change my patience level. I think that I may be the world’s most impatient person. I want everything yesterday!

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read?
My favorite book is A Walk In The Woods Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail.   My son walked the entire trail in 2004, and I read the book to learn about some of the things he might encounter.  I have been a fan of the author, Bill Bryson, ever since!

What is your favorite movie?
It’s a tie between The Blind Side or Miracle On Ice

What is your favorite TV show?
Cake Boss

What is your favorite Lincoln restaurant?
For dining in: Lazlo’s.  The beer cheese soup is awesome!
For pick-up: Chipotle—One of my co-workers got me hooked on the food there.

If you could have dinner with one person from the past or present, who would it be?
My Mother.  Although she isn’t famous to the rest of the world, she was a rock star to me.  When she lost her battle with cancer at the age of 49, I was lost.   We would have the longest dinner in history and maybe a few desserts and drinks because I would never want the evening to end!
