Tell us a little about your business.

My wife Sandy, our son Connor, and I opened Delta Restoration Services because we want to help people who are in need. From the moment we receive a call and arrive on site, we have one simple goal—to restore the customer’s property and valuables to the condition they were in before the disaster. We will do everything in our power to make the process as painless as possible for the customer—ensuring “Peace of mind during uncertain times!”

How did you get started in the business?

I purchased Chem-Dry Carpet Care of Lincoln in 1987 when I was 18 years old. Since then, I have seen my share of water damage. I have always wanted to expand into full restoration but the timing did not work out until now. My wife was ready for a new challenge and Connor was eager to start Delta with us. So, 32 years after I started Chem-Dry, I have another bucket list item checked off!

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally?

The ever-changing technology and processes with that! We work diligently to keep up to date with new techniques, equipment, training, and procedures so we can continue to offer our customers the best possible outcome.

What has been your most important achievement professionally?

I am proud to say we have been in the top 10% of Chem-Dry franchisees world-wide for over 25 years straight, and we are the first franchisee to own a Chem-Dry, NHance Wood Renewal, and Delta Restoration Service—the three brands of our franchiser.

Tell us a little about your family.

I have been married to Sandy for 29 years, and we have four children who are all here in Lincoln. In addition to Connor, we have a daughter named Ali. Her and her husband Anthony have five young boys. Our other two sons are Tyler, who works in the construction field, and Ethan, a senior at Southwest High School. We also have a three-year-old Jack Russell Terrior named Buster Brown, who we named appropriately!

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?

Spend time with my family doing anything—boating, fishing, backyard games, attending NE sporting events—anytime we are together, we have fun.
