After purchasing P90X in 2008 and doing the workouts, Pat Hain and his wife Kristin met someone in Lincoln who was a Beachbody Coach and he told them about the business opportunity. The opportunity made sense to them as they were seeing results with P90X yet still spending money on a gym membership, so they quit the gym and signed up as coaches operating under the name Lift Fitness. They offer free nutrition and fitness support to their customers using any of Beachbody’s programs such as P90X, INSANITY and Turbo Fire as well as Shakeology…the healthiest meal of the day. They also provide the opportunity for others to get involved and open their own Beachbody business.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – Sharing the opportunity with others who have had a bad experience with so called network marketing companies. Beachbody is a very different opportunity– we’re not about pushy, icky sales techniques. Our goal is to reverse the trend of obesity by providing people with tools to help them get fit and learn to eat healthy.
It is very important for us to build relationships, not destroy them and this business is about helping others, not about helping just ourselves.
Tell us a little about your family. – I am happily married to Kristin and have a 9 year old son, Josh. Kristin owns a local landscaping company called Land Escapes and is also a Team Beachbody Coach with me. We have 3 cats, Saki, Zen and Chopstik who Kristin named in honor for her love for sushi. My parents have a cabin up at Woodcliff Lake and we spend many of our summer weekends up there.
