After graduating from college with a degree in Social Work, Sally DeLair’s mother encouraged her to get her real estate license.  This ended up being a good call and Sally made commercial real estate her career, starting in Arizona and now here in Nebraska with NAI FMA Realty.  Her career spans 20 years, 15 of those in Nebraska.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally?
Juggling work, home and family all at once.

What has been your most important achievement professionally?
Gathering and growing a strong, faithful and awesome group of clients that have kept business good even in a tough economy.

Tell us a little about your family.
I was born and raised in the San Francisco bay area.  I met my Lincoln, Nebraska born (artist) husband in Arizona.  We have a 10th grader at SE High and a stepdaughter who is a successful fashion designer currently living in India, Bali and the New York.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life?
Meeting my husband, becoming a mother and actually settling our family here in Lincoln.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
Work out, go shopping and make a nice dinner for my family and friends.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?
I love to dance.

What are you the most proud of?
My family.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Honesty, humility and kindness are stellar traits.

What is the one goal you would most like to accomplish?
To travel the world.

How would your friends describe you?
Energetic.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life?
Being a mom.

Which talent would you most like to have?
The ability to play the piano well.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
My impatience at times.
