With a background in sales as well as advertising and marketing, Scott Stream was a perfect fit for Image Inflators, an indoor and outdoor advertising company specializing in custom signs, flags, banners and inflatables. He was hired by the owner Chris Johnson to be the sales director and enjoys helping businesses new and old get noticed with eye-catching products as well as trade show products.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally?
The biggest challenge for me is keeping up with the customer service side of what I do and going out and finding new business.
What has been your most important achievement professionally?
I would say my most important achievement has been my willingness to try new things and take on new challenges. If I was not open minded about different opportunities I would have never found Chris and Image Inflators.
Tell me a little about your family.
I’ve been married to my wife Deb for 16 years. We have two awesome boys who are 13 and 11. Our oldest is a musician and our youngest an athlete so they keep us very busy.
What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life?
When I decided to focus on a career that fit my strengths. I tried some things that just weren’t right and finally realizing on what I do best was a big turning point.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
That’s easy, play golf.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?
I have a very strong passion for helping people in need. I do this through the Kiwanis group I am a member of and also through my church, Southwood Lutheran.
What are you the most proud of?
My boys and the relationship I have with them.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
To overcome my fears and be confident in my abilities.
What is the one goal you would most like to accomplish?
To become debt-free.
How would your friends describe you?
Funny and outgoing. A bit of a goofball.
What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life?
My ability to juggle.

To be organized.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I would like to be taller.
