David Dier has been involved in the screen printing and embroidery industry since his father, Jim Dier, opened Jim Dier Sportswear in 1973. The business initially sold wholesale Nebraska products to retail stores and had their own retail store at 1724 O Street. In 1983 the business moved to 4555 N. 48th Street and stepped away from the retail sporting goods store. In 1994, Jim sold his shares of the company and David and his wife had partners until 2004 when they bought back 100% of the business. They now have two locations on 3400 Madison Ave (Eclipse screen printing and embroidery) and a retail store and showroom on 1501 N. Cotner Blvd. called Huskerville.
