Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is partnering with Cell Phones for Soldiers for its 5th Annual Cell Phones for Soldiers Promotion. Restaurant owners Justin and Jennifer Jones believe in helping Nebraska families stay connected with friends and family serving in the Armed Forces overseas and assisting returning veterans through Helping Heroes Home, a new initiative of Cell Phones for Soldiers. Donations of cell phones that are not currently in use will be accepted from March 25th through April 30th at either of the two Lincoln Raising Cane’s locations, on the corner of 48th and R or 14th and P streets, and those who donate a phone to this cause will receive a special offer for a free meal with the purchase of a meal and a drink, in appreciation of their donation. These phones will be recycled to produce calling cards that Nebraska troops serving abroad can use to call their friends and family. Customers can also add any dollar amount to their orders, which will support Helping Heroes Home.
Raising Cane’s has one love — chicken fingers — and focuses its menu offering on fresh, made-to-order chicken fingers paired with their homemade Cane’s sauce, grilled Texas Toast brushed with garlic butter, creamy Cole slaw and crinkle-cut French fries.
