Owning and operating a salon has been a passion of Sarah Lurk’s since she was young.  Lurk has gained experience over nine years as a stylist and has been able to use her sense of art and innovation to make many people happy.  She has always viewed hairstyling as an art form and as a way to express a customer’s personality and lifestyle through their hair.  When Lurk started the process for Salon Chic she took an existing space off of 48th & Normal Blvd and reworked it from the ground up.  She looked to utilize all the best tools, products and equipment that she had worked with over the past nine years, and wanted to provide an ergonomic space that would help aid in good working conditions for the stylists as well as their clientele.  Opening Salon Chic has given her the opportunity to provide a great and fun atmosphere for stylists that are looking to expand themselves as independent professionals.  Salon Chic welcomes new clients and stylists to see for themselves what Salon Chic has to offer.
